About our client

Healthcare organizations are under more compliance pressure than ever. Many are still managing compliance through scattered tools, manual tracking, and fragmented records that make it difficult to understand risk and maintain a defensible compliance program.

Our client is changing that.

They provide a purpose-built platform for healthcare compliance programs, bringing the tools, visibility, expertise, and ongoing support organizations need to build and manage their compliance programs more effectively.

Following the acquisition of Healthicity, the company is bringing together two established platforms — Compliance Manager and Guard — as part of a broader product and engineering roadmap.

As these platforms come together, customers need technical guidance to understand their options, evaluate the right solution for their needs, and, when appropriate, migrate from one platform to another.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Solutions Engineer to join the Solutions Engineering team and support one of the company’s most important initiatives: managing customer migrations from legacy platforms to the go-forward software platform.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role supporting a multi-year migration program expected to run through the end of 2028.

You’ll be the technical voice in the room as prospects and customers evaluate their current compliance solutions, understand their pain points, and explore how the company's platforms and future roadmap can address their needs.

You’ll conduct technical discovery, lead deep-dive demos, build sandboxes, support configuration, and help customers understand how each platform fits their environment — including determining when migrating between platforms is the right path.

The ideal candidate can go deep into technical details while also telling a compelling story about why those details matter to the customer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers evaluating or migrating across platforms.
  • Understand each customer's environment and help design a migration path that fits their infrastructure and needs.
  • Own technical discovery, deep-dive demos, and sandbox environments for prospects and customers.
  • Tailor technical presentations and demonstrations based on where each customer is in their evaluation or migration journey.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success to support smooth migrations and help customers realize value quickly after migration.
  • Support configuration and deliver minor technical changes needed to successfully implement solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, migration guides, and talk tracks that make pre-sales conversations and post-sales onboarding more scalable.
  • Translate technical capabilities into clear business value for both technical and economic buyers.
  • Gather prospect and customer feedback and communicate insights to Product and Engineering.
  • Help identify migration friction and surface opportunities to improve the migration experience and future product roadmap.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to continuously improve the migration playbook as the program evolves.

Why This Role Matter

This role sits at the intersection of technology, customer experience, and product strategy.

As two established platforms are brought together, customers need more than a product demonstration. They need someone who can understand their existing environment, explain their options, navigate technical requirements, and help them make sense of a complex transition.

You'll play a key role in helping customers move successfully to the company's go-forward platform while helping internal teams understand what customers need throughout the migration process.

This is also an opportunity to help build the playbook for a multi-year initiative rather than simply execute an established process.

What we are lookign for

  • 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or in a similar technical pre-sales role.
  • Strong technical depth and the ability to demonstrate complex products, explain configuration and implementation details, and answer technical questions in real time.
  • Experience managing relationships with large and complex organizations.
  • Experience working with deeply technical enterprise products.
  • Understanding of and comfort navigating security, compliance, and IT processes within large organizations.
  • Strong storytelling and positioning skills, with the ability to connect technical capabilities to customer business needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence presenting one-on-one, to small groups, and in larger settings.
  • Comfort working in ambiguous environments where processes and playbooks are still evolving.
  • A collaborative, low-ego, self-starter mindset.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and find creative solutions to move projects forward.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with healthcare compliance, governance, risk, or security products.
  • Previous experience supporting a product migration or platform transition.
  • Experience working with distributed or offshore teams.
  • Experience working in a small, fast-moving environment where processes are still being developed.

Ideal Candidate Profile

You may be a strong fit for this role if you enjoy getting hands-on with technology, solving complex customer problems, and translating technical concepts into clear business value.

You’re comfortable moving between technical discovery, product demonstrations, configuration, documentation, and customer conversations. You can work with both technical and business stakeholders and know how to adjust your communication based on the audience.

You’re also comfortable operating without a fully defined playbook. Instead of waiting for the process to be handed to you, you enjoy helping build it, improving it, and sharing what you learn with the broader team.

Most importantly, you see Solutions Engineering as more than demonstrating software. You want to understand the customer's environment, identify what they actually need, and become a trusted technical partner throughout the decision and migration process.
